Tori Amos (born Myra Ellen Amos on August 22, 1963) is a pianist and composer. She is married to English sound engineer Mark Hawley, with which he has a son, Natashya "Tash" Lorien Hawley, born September 5, 2000.

Amos has been at the forefront of a number of singer-songwriters 1990s and was marked early in his career as one of the few alternative rock artists using a piano as main instrument. It is known for his emotionally intense songs, covering a wide range of topics including sexuality, religion and personal tragedy. Some of his most singles popular include "Crucify", "Silent All These Years," "Cornflake Girl", "Caught a Lite Sneeze", "Professional Widow "" Spark "and" A Sorta Fairy Tale, "his most commercially successful single in the United States to date.

Since 2005, Amos has sold 12 million copies worldwide. Having a history of making eccentric and sometimes lewd comments during concerts and interviews, has earned the reputation to be very special. After releasing two albums and embarked on two tours in quick succession, Amos made a break for both touring and recording in 2000 to pursue another pregnancy. Amos became a mother, giving birth to her daughter, Natashya in September 2000. Inspired by the songs they listened to the radio while caring for her daughter to her second home in Florida, Amos conceived the idea to produce an album cover, recording songs written by men about women and turning them around according to the female perspective. This idea became the cover of an album Strange Little Girls, which was launched in September 2001. The album only received media attention important as a work of art with Amos photographed in the character of women portrayed in each song. Amos Piece by Piece by revealing a stimulant that album was to end his contract with Atlantic Records, without giving them new original songs, Amos found that since 1998, the label was not a good promotion and was stuck in a contract by refusing to sell to another label.

In conjunction with the tour, Amos Legs and Boots has launched the series, the full sample of U.S. side of the American Doll Posse tour available for download. In total, 27 shows were recorded in the Legs and Boots series.
