Live Red Rocks

The Iguana family is considered the largest families of lizards. The most common are the green iguanas. But there are some with skin color, are known iguana red.

One face of popular red iguanas is red skink. They are colored terrestrial and semi-aquatic lizards that originate in the open steppes forests, rocky habitats of the southern and eastern Africa.

Today, these red iguanas are the most common reptiles beloved. They are also one of the most sold in some stores of pets. Thus, these red iguanas are now in the garden and even indoors.

Like any pet, there are some prerequisites for the red iguana to grow in their new environment.

An iguana red can live in a tank containing 30 liters of water. Cans may vary in shapes, sizes and styles and are made of glass or wood. The base should be easy to clean. The most effective use is paper, but linoleum and artificial grass are also excellent choices. Keep out of the enclosure ground sand and bark, because they can lead to retention or obstruction if your iguana ingests them. It is also important to give a shallow bowl for food and water. These plates of food and water must be disinfected and cleaned regularly. Also needed is add climbing equipment such as branches, bark, branches and boulders.

Iguanas are herbivores and generally should be given a variety of vegetables and fruits. Most of the diet should include green leafy vegetables such as leaf mustard greens, escarole, kale and spinach. It is also important to feed a limited number of foods rich in protein. You can also provide mixed vegetables like green peppers, squash, vegetables, beans and frozen mixed greens and fruits such as bananas, mangoes and apples. Like other animals, iguanas should be fed every day.

Water is the most pressing needs Iguanas essential, therefore it must be readily available. Normally, iguanas obtain water through the plant they eat, others licking water from the wood or leaves. Expose your iguana in your environment early in the morning to prevent them from being dehydrated. These iguanas and water dishes can be their own to serve your water. Therefore, it is important that your dishes are cleaned regularly to avoid bacterial infections.

Like all pets, your iguana should be properly prepared. Swimming is a good routine to get your iguana before. It's a way for your pet to get water and purified. The bathroom should be warm water in a container slightly deeper, at least 3 times a week. Always help your pet to avoid accidents. Note that all iguanas have fun during bath time, some might panic.

Iguanas must be handled frequently to discipline or tame. Your iguana can be trained to show affection for those who regularly attend. They should take place 2-3 times a day for at least fifteen minutes. Rub gently, back and neck and get your reptile PET used for the handling and collection. Just keep in mind that iguanas can be aggressive by nature so extreme caution is necessary in the treatment of your pet reptile.
