The Buddy Ivory Band has been inspired by many great musical styles over the years. Their original music encompasses the best in rock, country, funk, rhythm and blues, and all the good stuff in between.

 Featuring a solid ensemble of seasoned players, they provide the listener with that "get off your seat beat" with a dash of old school rock and rhythm and blues. Our new CD "Rough Cut" is now available. We have some samples for you to listen to here.

Buddy Ivory’s music is an entertaining mix of a multi-genre format of down to earth rhythm and blues, rock, soul, country, and blues-rock, that will make you want to get up and dance. From the country rock sounds of “Alabama Fighting Men” to the rock tune "Pretty Faces", and the funky “Wait For Me", The Buddy Ivory Band have put together a unique foot stomping sound that makes you want to get off your seat and dance.

Buddy Ivory is proud to announce the potent, soul-shaking release of their debut CD, "Rough Cut". The band expertly lays down grooves that are tastier than an all-you-can-eat buffet. Their songs, a kaleidoscope of rock, country, funk and rhythm and blues, say more with less – they ditch the pitch, and get right down to the sale.

The band strongly believes that seriousness has no place in music, and this is evident in their songs. Buddy Ivory says, “Music should be fun. We feel that life is far too short to sweat the little things, and the passion of our music reflects the enjoyment and fulfillment we derive from it.” Fun is the mortar that firmly holds the 9-song "Rough Cut" together, from the smooth groove of “Shadow Play” to the B-3 flavored funk of “Nothin’ But a Thang.”

 Accompanying Buddy Ivory are other high caliber musicians Bob Shade and Steve Parezo on drums, Dan Burbine on keyboards, and Spencer Leckliter on bass. With the release of "Rough Cut", the band has landed a knockout punch in their battle to recruit fans nationwide. No one is immune to their highly contagious songs, which are skillfully penned and expressively played. Or, as the band would say, “Our music is a cross between traditional R&B, rock and roll, country, and down-home soul.
