"I'm from Barcelona" is perhaps the most deceptive acts pop ever met - first, are not actually in Barcelona but in fact hail from Jönköping in Sweden, and stranger still, they sing in English, not Swedish (or Spanish!). Secondly, there is an artist in one context as the first person the name suggests, but in fact all twenty-eight singers and musicians. So why all the subterfuge?

Group Founder and singer Emanuel Lundgren said he had influence on the name of the award in favor of Manuel, the incompetent Spanish waiter (played by Andrew Sachs) within 70 iconic British TV series comedy, Fawlty Towers.

Imagine how Lundgren assembly was then picked up the "I'm From Barcelona 'troops play a presentation in the Primavera Sound Festival Rock in 2006 - located, as luck would have it, in the heart of Barcelona!

Lundgren is not the only musician to have adopted the name and spirit of the second largest city in Spain through his art, however. The song of the same name became one of the biggest solo success of Mercury when it was a deathbed statement to coincide with it being chosen as the song of the 1992 Olympic Games.

Thus, not only in Barcelona looks very attractive for the musician in a literal sense, but more consideration physical sense, with the city to host two annual music festivals most important during the summer months - above Rock Festival Primavera Sound and Sonar Music Festival.

Each festival is unique in music trends, and often both will be of interest to the public and serve totally different. Spring Sound tends to lean towards post-rock and avant-garde and underground acts, and became in 2007 by The White Stripes The Fall and Sonic Youth playing their seminal 1988 album, Daydream Nation in its entirety. Other underground heroes such as the Melvins, Slint, Dirty Three and Blonde Redhead, also attended the festival, along with more traditional rock acts like Billy Bragg and The Good, The Bad & The Queen.

Alternatively, Sonar tends to focus on electronic forms of music such as dance, drum 'n bass and hip-hop, and I saw groups of high level This year, the Beastie Boys, The Chemical Brothers, Bjork and LCD Soundsystem. The concert Sonic Youth. What should I expect?

Such a large hole is mosh? And the show itself that they actually communicate with the audience or not. Or do they just pretty much play? I have them a year ago after listening daydream. Nation and I do not know what they like the show.

To clear the crowd, but not a fanatic. "Big hole mosh" if you're surrounded by. meatheads .... Sonic Youth really is not "mosh music". To show themselves ... they usually make. In between songs banter to a minimum. - At least they were when I saw them. (That is the approximately 96 that could be completely different today). What you expect to lose tons of clay. hipsters do they have more rights than you have, but just ignore them and enjoy.
